Egoli Magic celebrated BNL title. They topped Soweto Panthers in the exciting championship game on Saturday. Magic held Panthers to an opponent 21.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 31.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Magic made 8 blocks. 29 personal fouls committed by Panthers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international swingman Reece Prinsloo (203-91) fired 8 points, 22 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Mosebudi Meela chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Tshepo Mogotsi (-92) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and guard Didier Tshimanga added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side.
